Peer Review Process
At IJRDO Journal of Forestry Wildlife and Environment, we have a systematic peer review that ensures that all the manuscripts are of the desired quality, clarity, and relevance. The procedure will be equitable, open, and effective to all writers.
1. Submission of Manuscript
Authors can submit their manuscript either via journal submission system or through official email. The submission must be submitted according to the guidelines of the journal and must have all the required information.
2. Initial Editorial Screening
As it comes, the editorial team performs a preliminary examination to:
- Check if the manuscript fits within the journal’s scope
- Ensure basic quality, structure, and formatting
- Identify any obvious issues such as plagiarism or incomplete content
Manuscripts which fail to conform to these requirements can be sent back to the authors or rejected at this point.
3. Assignment to Reviewers
In case the manuscript succeeds at the first screening, it is given to the subject experts to review in a comprehensive manner. Our peer-review process is blind, and is not biased or content-oriented.
4. Review and Evaluation
The allocated reviewers closely assess the manuscript on the basis of:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Clarity and organization of the content
- Methodology and accuracy of results
- Relevance to the journal’s subject areas
The reviewers give constructive feedback and suggestions to improve.
5. Author Revision
Depending on the reviewer comments, the authors can be requested to revise their manuscript. During this stage:
- Authors respond to all reviewer feedback
- Necessary corrections and improvements are made
- The revised manuscript is resubmitted for further consideration
6. Final Decision
Having looked at the amended manuscript, the editorial team will decide finally and this may involve:
- Acceptance of the manuscript
- Acceptance with minor or major revisions
- Rejection if the manuscript does not meet required standards
7. Publication
When the manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to the publication stage. The article is ready to be released finally and published in the next issue after the monthly publication of the journal.
8. Confidentiality and Ethics
Throughout the process:
- Reviewers maintain confidentiality of the manuscript
- Authors are expected to submit original and ethical work
- The journal ensures a fair and unbiased review system
This is done so that we can ensure quality and credibility of the research we publish and give authors a smooth ride.
